Subject: Compliments to Staff of UNS - Jake/Demial & Team Dear Sir/Madam RE : Compliments to Staff of UNS - Jake/Demial & Team I am a regular customer to Jack’s Place AMK (almost on a weekly basis) and I feel compelled to write in to give positive feedback after visiting the United Square branch for the first time today. I visited the above mentioned branch today at around 7pm for dinner after a business meeting with 3 of my company’s VIP visitors from the Philippines. The service staff promptly seated us and was very cheerful and attentive when taking our orders. He also took the initiative to run my visitors through the menu and monthly specials. In fact, Jake even conversed with my guests in their native language Tagalog and made them felt very much at home. After our food was served, Jake personally followed up with each one of us to enquire if our steak was done to our satisfaction and if everything was in order – typically only encountered in fine dining restaurants or high class restaurants in 5 star hotels. I would like to emphasize that I have never encountered the staff at AMK branch (or any other Jack’s place branch I have visited previously for that matter, e.g. Causeway Point, Orchard etc) doing likewise during my meal and am therefore pleasantly surprised by this gesture. The staff also overheard us wishing one of my guests “happy birthday” as coincidentally it was her birthday today. Jake and his team thus made special arrangements on their own accord to provide a slice of mango cake to her and sang her the birthday song with gusto. It led my guests to comment that in this few days that they have been in Singapore, even the service at the hotel which they are staying at (Peninsular Excelsior Hotel) pales in comparison to what they experienced today. Their excellent service attitude made our day and is truly worthy of the GEMS movement. We hope that your company will give the team due recognition and also hope that you are able to convey my heartfelt thanks to them – my guests were very pleased with their service as well as superb quality of the food. They also walked away with the special edition “Christmas House” mug which came with the drinks they originally did not intend to order – again it was the good work of the staff that convinced them to bring a piece of Jack’s Place back to the Philippines!
