Subject: Appreciation and Thank you (Michael at West Coast Recreation Centre) To Jack's Place Management I am writing to express my appreciation to your staff, Mr Michael for his excellent service. My family went to Jack's Place Restaurant at West Coast Recreation Centre last night, 30th January 2010. We arrived at around 17:45 and left at around 21:15. Four of us ordered grills, while my mother-in-law ordered seafood spaghetti. When the food was served, my mother-in-law found the spaghetti too salty and this was tasted and confirmed by my husband. When we requested for help, Michael came and tried to understand our problem and immediately responded that he will get the food re-cooked. When the food was served again, he waited to see if the food as tasted ok, unfortunately my mother-in-law still find the food too salty, Michael patiently apologies, explained that he and the chef tasted the food before it was served and confirmed by the senior chef that the taste was quite flat -- perhaps my mother-in-law was not used to the tomato paste, so we asked if it is possible for it to be re-cooked in just plain olive oil without the tomato paste which Michael obliged. When the spaghetti was served the 3rd time, again, Michael again waited for my mother-in-law's comment, and it was a thumb up this time. My family and I were so pleased with the professionalism Michael displayed in servicing and delighting the customer. I congratulate Jack's Place for having such a valuable staff like Michael which makes our dinning experience a satisfactory one, and we wish to thank him for his excellent service. Your satisfied customer, Madam Sit S. P |
