Subject: Feedback on Assistant Manager: Kenny Lim To the Person-In-Charge I am writing to compliment one of your staff from the Jack's Place outlet at United Square. His name is Kenny Lim and I understand that he is the Assistant Manager of that Jack's Place outlet. My mum, daughter and I have been frequenting the Jack's Place outlet at United Square very often for the past 2 months or so as my daughter enjoys the kid's meal there. During each of our visit, Mr. Lim has exhibited excellent customer service, from his ever cheerful disposition to his polite mannerisms. In fact, when we jokingly mentioned to Mr. Lim last Tuesday that my little daughter would be celebrating her birthday this week and that perhaps he can surprise her with a slice of cake, he gamely took us on and remembered that it was her birthday the minute we stepped into the restaurant today. He offered us a slice of cheesecake with a candle after my daughter's meal. While this may be a simple gesture and would probably not cost your restaurant much, it is this sort of customer service that is needed in today's highly competitive retail environment. I am a lecturer at a local tertiary institution specializing in the teaching of marketing and customer relationship management, Mr. Lim's service standards would be a classic example of exemplary service and I would be most certain to quote him as an example of good customer service in one of my many lectures. I trust that Mr. Lim would continue to demonstrate good leadership qualities as he leads the rest of the wait staff at the United Square outlet. On this note, I would also like to commend a particular male trainee who served as today. I was unable to obtain his name as I only saw the word 'trainee' on his shirt. However, he was on duty at 11am today and he too, though still under training, demonstrated outstanding customer service. I hope to see more examples of such good service in the retail sector here in Singapore. I would be pleased if you could forward my compliment to Mr. Kenny Lim and the trainee. Thank you and Warm Regards Mrs L. Koh |
